Delete your account

Option 1: From the app

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings › Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Option 2: By email

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in:

1. Send an email to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account (or the one used by your Google, Facebook or Apple sign-in).
2. Use the subject "Account deletion request" and tell us the name of the app.
3. We may reply to verify that the account belongs to you. We will confirm once the deletion is complete.

What we delete

• Your account and profile: name, email address, age or date of birth and profile photo.
• Your link to Google, Facebook or Apple sign-in.
• Content and settings you saved in the app.
• Usage and diagnostic data associated with your account.

What we may keep, and for how long

• Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request. Copies in backups are overwritten within 90 days.
• Records we are legally required to keep (for example, purchase records), only for the period the law requires.
• Anonymous, aggregated statistics that can no longer identify you.

Purchases and subscriptions are managed by Google Play or the App Store. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription; cancel it from your store account first.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can ask us to delete specific data (for example, your profile photo) while keeping your account by writing to [email protected]. You can also remove TutoCoder's access from your Google, Facebook or Apple account settings at any time.
